The IFSO Middle East – North African Chapter unites the efforts of the Gulf Obesity Surgery Society (GOSS), Pan Arab Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (PASMBS), National Bariatric Societies of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt The goal is the spread awareness about the impact of obesity and improve knowledge and understanding about the various treatments that can help obese or overweight individuals overcome this condition.
