Dr. Athos Patsalides is the Chief of Neuro-Interventional Surgery at North Shore University Hospital in Manhattan. He promotes research and cutting-edge therapies for vascular diseases of the brain and spine, especially Pulsatile Tinnitus and Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. Dr. Patsalides is an expert in aneurysms of the brain, arteriovenous malformations (AVM) of the brain and spine, and Dural Arteriovenous Fistulas (DAVF) of the brain and spine, carotid stenosis, vascular malformations of the head and neck. He is also an expert in minimally invasive procedures for spinal compression fractures (kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty) and for patients with osteoporosis, multiple myeloma, and spinal tumors.
