Dr. Adam M. Johannsen went to medical school at the University of Minnesota, He then completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Stanford University, in California. His strong interest in sports medicine and shoulder surgery led him to pursue a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at the prestigious Steadman Clinic, in Vail, CO. Dr. Johannsen practices with the Park Nicollet and TRIA Orthopaedic group in Minnesota. He has a specific clinical interest in treating ligament and meniscus injuries of the knee, rotator cuff tears of the shoulder, shoulder instability (dislocations) and labral tears, shoulder arthritis, and hip femoroacetabular impingement and labral tears.
